  • Jerzy Pfefer, born in 1926, son of Abraham and Rozalia. Moja ucieczka z Majdanka (My escape from Majdanek). During the Warsaw ghetto uprising, the author and his family hid in the shelter in Franciszkanska Street. After the shelter was discovered they were deported to Lublin. Selection in the camp at Majdanek. Life conditions in the camp, maltreatment of the prisoners, profiles of the functional prisoners. The author was sent to work in the kitchen. Retrospection: reminiscence of his wife and son killed in Majdanek. The description of the great liquidation action in 1942. In June 1943, the author escaped from the work detail outside the camp and came back to Warsaw. Stay in hideouts in Warsaw.
