  • In 1880 he started education at Mrs Apel's school, from which he was expelled. Until he was 9 he had attended state schools: Mr Gajowniczek's school, Mr Macenko's school, Mr Kristoszek's school from all of them he was expelled. He attended Junior High School in Charkow, after the outbreak of cholera, Anatol not wanting to loose a year, joined the Tomsk Infantry Regiment led by the Austrian archduke Ludwik Wiktor.

Anatol in his school years was very active also in various organisations, he helped the people in need. From the race point of view he was indistinguishable: a blue-eyed blond elegant man. He traveled under the name Delislaw, which was his second name. In 1901 he married Helena who tolerated his erotic frolics. They had 3 children. He escaped from the ghetto through the Court at Biala Street.
