He and his wife worked in the Madem Sanatorium near Warsaw until its liquidation in August 1942. They succeeded in crossing to the 'Aryan side'. He had a 10-year-old brother, whom they could not hide: he got back to the ghetto, stayed in a Centos orphanage at Dzika Street No. 3. In winter 1942-1943 Wladka brought him a parcel from his brother. In May 1943 he was a participant in the meeting with Nosowski, the commander of a Polish Socialist Party partisan unit: there were attempts to incorporate fighters rescued from the ghetto. He goes to Ryk, to the partisan headquarters, with Nosowski. On of the builders of a hideout (together with Wojciechowski and Kazik)?
