    A Polish- Jewish (?) conductor. In the Warsaw ghetto conducted a orchestra of Jewish policemen.

    Member of a stage dancing group 'Karasinski i Kataszka', which was popular during the inter-war period. In the Warsaw ghetto he conducted the JP orchestra. Escaped to Lvov, where he conducted an orchestra in a German night club under an assumed name. He was recognised there by a German, who knew him from Warsaw, and was shot in 1943. [footnote p. 281]

    The conductor of the Jewish Police orchestra, a well-known musician, previously in hiding (?) in Lvov on 'Aryan papers', played in the SS orchestra. Some SS officer, who was visiting the Warsaw ghetto recognised him - he was sent to Pawiak and killed.
