  • Member of a stage dancing group 'Karasinski i Kataszka', which was popular during the inter-war period. In the Warsaw ghetto he conducted the JP orchestra. Escaped to Lvov, where he conducted an orchestra in a German night club under an assumed name. He was recognised there by a German, who knew him from Warsaw, and was shot in 1943. [footnote p. 281]
