  • At the yard and in front of the house a barricade preventing the Germans to bring reinforcements was raised. This point was very important for the Germans, they fought fiercely and did not allow the insurgents for any pausing for breath. For several days, despite the difficult conditions, the insurgents were able to keep this point. The staff of the unit fighting here was placed in the Old Town at Dluga Street.
