Motyl Binem's uncle. Severely beaten during the attack of German gendarmes on Jewish people at the Eastern Railway Station in November 1939. In spite of numerous wounds he managed to escape and get to the train going to Biala Podlaska. Yet, because he lost contact with his journey companions and he did not know the plan, he decided to come back to Warsaw. He was soon joined by his wife Pola. Deported to a concentration camp in Germany in autumn 1941.
