She was a young girl, found by one of the Jewish groups, who were brought to clean the Warsaw Ghetto after the Uprising. She was the only living creature they met there. She was sitting by the corpse of a young boy in one of the basements of a house at Wolynska Street. The SS-man, who guarded the working Jews, led her out of the basement. She was brought to "Gesiowka", washed and fed. When Jews came to eat dinner, they were told to stop. The girl was sitting on a chair, near the kitchen. The chief of police came to her closer and said with a cynical smile: "Jews are living in this camp. We do them no harm, they work and they get food. You will also have everything you need, you will work here and you will live. You only have to tell me, who helped you to stay alive to date." The girl rose from the chair with her last breath and shouted in the SS-man's face: "I know exactly your sweet words...You will pay for everything! Your end is near!" She didn't manage to say anything more. She was killed with a bullet from the SS-man's revolver.
