  • One of the German artillery units camouflaged there. Its task was to stop the Soviet army offensive. On the other side of the Vistula river Soviet soldiers were shooting. Because of this, those hiding in the bunker under the house in Franciszkanska Street, found themselves in the very middle of combat. Going out during the day was impossible.
