  • It was built by Jan Hilzen in years 1762-1765; the palace in 1795 was inherited by his grandson Tadeusz Mostowski who in 1822 handed it over to the Polish Kingdom government; in 1823 the palace was thoroughly rebuilt and expanded by Antonio Corazzi for the seat of Internal Affairs Governmental Commission; during the 'Russian times' it was turned into barracks (here the famous Volhynian regiment was situated).
