Korczak was fascinated with India, practiced yoga, knew Tagore's works. In the ghetto, the children from the Korczak’s Orphanage staged his "Post-Office" twice, despite the fact that the play was forbidden by the Germans. The second performance, to which audience was invited, was a great experience for the children as well as for the guests.
