in July 1942 she lived in Nalewki Street No. 23 with daughter Halina. She was N. Birenbaum's younger sister In 1942 she took in her sister's whole family to her flat. Her 20-year-old son Kuba was deported in 1941 to forced labor in Ostrowiec Kielecki. Husband was executed by Nazis in 1941 (as a railwayman he helped transport Jews from the Warsaw ghetto to towns near Warsaw). At the beginning of the deportation action she hid in Toebbens's shop. She moved to Leszno Street No. 64 to the Toebbens's shop's workers' house. Taken to the Umschlagplatz from this house during a blockade
