He was in Auschwitz. He was deported to Warsaw together with other Jews in October 1943 and detained in the camp in Gesia Street (military prison). He worked in the "electricians' group", gathering the electric equipment from the rubbles and from the basements in the ghetto. He died fighting in the Warsaw Uprising.
