An outstanding painter and graphic artist, the co-founder of the "Rytm" group, painted landscapes, nudes, portraits (e.g. Jan Lechon's portrait), still lives; evidently influenced by Cézanne. The author of a cycle of drawings of the ghetto. Kramsztyk had been abroad for many years. In summer 1939 came to Warsaw because his mother was severley ill. The breakout of the war made it impossible for him to leave. Died during the great deportation on 6 August 1942.
