One of the few good Germans. During the blockade of Schultz's shop on 20 January 1943 he offered the author to hid her, but it was already too late. After escaping from the train to Treblinka the author returns to Warsaw, Karl Bruck helps her - he comes with his car and takes her to the pointed address. On 27 January 1943 he helps her to leave the ghetto, hiding her in a lorry transporting fur cuttings from the ghetto.
