  • Wizyta u Stasia Zabłockiego - Berlandowie proszą go o ukrycie, Staś nie może, bo już ukrywa dwie Żydówki i ma paskudną współlokatorkę, ale idzie z Berlandami do swoich znajomych próbować. Tam nikogo nie ma. Berlanda strasznie cisną buty, nie może już chodzić. Staś, widząc rany na jego stopach, postanawia jednak wziąć Berlandów do siebie. Rano Maria Berland przyprowadza jeszcze Leosię i Hoffera. Gospodarz jest bardzo gościnny, sam lubi dobrze zjeść i wypić i chętnie biesiaduje z nowymi gośćmi.
