    Born in Russia. Since adolescence was a conductor of choirs in Eastern Galicia and then in Lodz, where he conducted a big and well-known Choir 'Zamir' (Singer). Studied music in Krakow and Vienna and was a lecturer at a music school himself. Since adolescence acted in Poalej Zion. In the Warsaw Ghetto he set up 'Szir' (Song) choir for adults, which had 80 members. At the same time he conducted several children's and school choirs as well as the youth DROR choir. In his repertoire there was a lot of classical music as well as some Hebrew and Israeli songs. Died in 1943 in the camp in Poniatowa.
