An engineer, before the war co-owned a furniture factory at Gesia Street No. 30, which was taken over by Ostdeutsche Bautischlerei Werkstaette during the war. One of the directors of that shop. Member of the underground, participated in works on Ringelblum's archive, didn't support the postulate of armed resistance during a meeting of 16 prominent Jewish underground activists. His shop became the ghetto underground centre during the Great Action. Berlinski, Pola Ester, Hersz Wasser and others hid at his place. Went to the Aryan side in April 1943; deported to the Vittel camp.
