A messenger and a soldier during the Warsaw Uprising. Died.
(2)Her father was a Hebrew teacher. Graduated from 'Jehudyja', a Jewish junior high school in Warsaw, and started her Romance studies at Warsaw University. In 1939 became a member of 'Freiheit'. During the war was a messenger of Dror, went to ghettos all over Poland - on the 'Aryan side' acted as Krystyna Kosowska - she transported documents, weapons, escorted members of the organisation from one city to another. In April 1942 on her way back from Vilna to Warsaw she was arrested at a train station in Malkinia. Four pistols and underground press were found on her. During the interrogation at Szucha Street and Pawiak she did not confess to being Jewish. On 11 November 1942 she was sent with a group of fifty-six female, Polish prisoners to Auschwitz. Died of typhus.
