The head of the Werkschutz in the brushmaker's shop - autumn 1942.
(2)Worked in the brushmaker's shop, the shelter at Swietojerska Street No. 36 - 21 April 1943, had a flat in Otwock, where his brother signed the Volksliste and got a job in a train company. His family managed to get thorugh a 'rat' tunnel from Szymek Kac's shelter to another shelter, later on they were in hiding at Swietojerska Street No 34. 1 Jane - Szymek and his family got to another hideout into the 'wild' area. At the end of June Szymek, his wife, mother and child together with some smugglers get through sewers to a Polish district. The Kacs get to the arranged flat in Leszno Street. The caretaker warns them that if they do not leave the building we will tell the Gestapo about them. Szymek and his family move to the Hotel Polski. He sends letter to his friends who were in hiding, telling them to go to the Hotel Polski, as it will save them.

(4)A worker in a brush factory, belonged to an armed group which was in hiding at Swietojerska Street No. 36. Left the ghetto with his family on 2 July 1943.
