A German commissar of the Technical and Construction Department of the Judenrat. On 18 January 1943 came to the Umschlagplatz to bail out the workers taken from the Department whom he needed the most. From among 5-6000, 27 people were released that day by Faders and Brandt, e.g. Szerszewski and his wife and daughter Nina.
