(2)He lived in the ghetto in Nowolipie, he lost the whole family. He fought in the uprising, 27 April 1943 he went through canals to the 'Aryan side' with a group of several fighters. He was a partisan fighter near Wyszkow. After two months Germans broke up the unit, Celnikier managed to force his way through to Warsaw. He hid in a hole in the ground in a field behind Skaryszewski Park. A Polish acquaintance, a Baptist, brought him some bread. Jewish boys noticed him, they fed him. They notified J. Ziemian about the hiding man. Jewish National Committee (ZKN) got forged documents and money for Celnikier, which let him move from the hole to the cellar of a Polish acquaintance. He made a hideout there. The host's wife brought him food. He survived the war. He lives in Israel.
