The author of testimony 301-5538, a shoemaker. A Polish Jew expelled from Germany to Zbaszyn, left for Warsaw, where his mother and sister lived. His wife wasn't a Jewess, but she didn't want to divorce with him and came with children to Warsaw. Moritz was in the Warsaw ghetto, live at Panska Street No. 62, his wife lived on the 'Aryan side'; she had a pass; thanks to it she came to the ghetto and brought food and medicines. Moritz left the ghetto during the ghetto uprising, he hid at his wife's place. After the fall of the Warsaw uprising of 1944 he hid in the ruins of the city, his wife and children had been deported. After the war, he met his wife in Leipzig, where they lived after the war.
