As a baby, she was in an orphanage, after some time she was adopted by a couple, who signed the Volksliste during the war, because of their German origins. She helped the Guz family - they mainly survived because of her help. She placed Guz's daughter in father Boduen's house - she registered her under the name and surname, which she had when she was a foundling- Barbara Helena Bawarska. She was honoured by the medal 'Righteous among the Nations'.
