A Polish officer, interned in a camp for Polish officers in Hungary. In June 1940 he escaped and came to Warsaw. He worked for Jewish police. He took the Wattenbergs to Pawiak, where they were to be interned as American citizens. He delivered them food parcels to prison. During the blockade of police houses on 21 September 1942 he escaped with his wife to another part of the ghetto. He managed to get work in one of the shops. Since 5 October 1942 he worked in the Werterfassung (in storehouses in Dzielna Street). Thanks to this fact he could see the Wattenbergs who were imprisoned at Pawiak (he came to see them until their departure in January 1943). He passed to the 'Aryan side' and worked in the outskirts of Praga.
