Zofia is waiting for Ida at the streetcar stop. Suddenly she sees her in the distance and her heart stops beating. Ida is rushing in Zofia's direction, surrounded by six boys-blackmailers. She should have pretended not to recognize Zofia but she had lost her head. She asked Zofia what to do. "Get on the bus tomorrow at the same place". Not all of the boys followed Ida, three of them stayed behind with Zofia. Now they are going to blackmail her or denounce her to the Germans.
