Every day people report for resettlement. Whenever too few volunteer, the Germans institute an "Aktion". They cordon off a series of apartment buildings and force every inhabitant to report to the courtyard with their papers. Anyone without a work-card is immediately deported. The Goetzel family moves to the factory.
