After the July Action it so happened, that the Lewinson siblings lived with Heniek Zemsz and his wife and son. Heniek Zemsz fell in love with Lewinson's daughter. She hid with her brother after the uprising, in 1943 they were in the same hideout as the Zemsz family with Najberg's group in Nalewki Street. She committed suicide jumping out of the fifth floor when the Germans found the hideout.
