  • Warsaw Jewish man, Jerzy Pfefer finds room at his place. The man left Poland when he was thirteen years old and he went to his father in Leipzig. There he learns German and meets his future wife. He is the father of eight and eleven year old boys. A year before the outbreak of the war they are deported from Germany. They loose their wealth and come to live in Zbaszyn.
