Jakub, no title, the description of the author's experiences from the war time starts from Polish-German War of 1939 (escape from Warsaw and come-back). The author moved from the ghetto to the, so-called, "Aryan side", moved in to Julia Rogowinska, in Praga, he was a tradesman. From 16 May 1943 he hid and avoided leaving the flat (several times he left Warsaw to smuggle). A part of the diary, concerning years 1943-1944, contains mainly information about war operations taken from press, rumours (including those about Polish underground organisations), occasional rhymes and information about Julia's family. The diary breaks off in the middle of the sentence describing the situation in Warsaw in the end of July 1944. The unknown by his surname author was a bookkeeper, died in the Warsaw Uprising. His diary was donated to The Jewish Historical Institute by Julia Rogowinska.
