Since 1943 was hiding in a flat rented thanks to Barbara Dorodzinska. Since May 1943 until July 1944 he was in her flat. In her testimony Dorota Dorodzinska recalls that he suffered from neurosis. Just before the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, Dorodzinska escorted him and his wife to Wiersze - a village in the Kampinos forest. At the time the testimony was submitted he lived in Nowogard, at Wojska Polskiego Street No. 1.
