During the occupation he made the flat at the parsonage available to Jews; he issued them the certificates of changing the religion, certificates with Polish names, certificates after dead people. For the refugees from the ghetto he issued the certificates of birth. He was the secretary of the parish until 1963; he was then 69 years old.
