During the Nazi occupation she hid Jews, led them to the 'Aryan side', ransomed prisoners. During the Warsaw uprising she went to Auschwitz, where she worked in so-called 'Kanada'. She was a victim of dr Jozef Mengele's experiments. She survived the camp, together with her family. After the war she lived in Grunwald.

While writing down the testimony (1964), Stanislawa Dentkiewicz lived in Grunwald.
