A Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB) fighter, the member of the first armed clash with the Germans at the junction of Nalewki, Gesia and Franciszkanska Street on 19 April 1943, author of memoirs.

Działacz Droru, he´Chaluc i Poalej Syjon. W Radomsku założył konspiracyjne komórki tych organizacji. W 1940 został wezwany do warszawy przez kierwonictwo droru. Był wychowawcą młodzieży i redaktorem konspiracyjnej prasy. W czasie Wilekiej Akcji znajdował się na fermie szkoleniowej w Czerniakowie, skąd w 1942, został przesiedlony do getta warszawskiego. Podczas powstania w getcie został wysłany kanałami na stronę aryjską by nawiązać kontakt z członkai podziemia tam przebywającymi. W Powstaniu Warszawskim walczył w szeregach ŻOB-u. Był jesziwe bocher (uczniem jesziwy), prowadził w Radomsku bibliotekę, podczas wojny ukrył zbiór liczący 10.000 tomów na strychu.

Before the war he lived in Radomsko. A member of the youth organizations 'Freiheit' and 'He-Halutz', later on a member of Poale Zion. In the Warsaw ghetto he was a member of the underground - he taught on secret classes, wrote articles for the underground press. He fought in the uprising in the central ghetto, in Josef Farber's group. He left the ghetto through sewers on 10 May, then hid among others at Panska Street No. 5. He took part in the Warsaw uprising. In 1949 he left for Israel. One of the founders of the 'Ghetto Fighters' Kibbutz, he died in the kibbutz.

A member of He-Chaluc and Dror. He discovered that in the bunker at Franciszkanska Street No. 22 there is an underground passage to the sewer, and that there is someone, who knows the tracks in the sewer.
