In the Judenrat building in Zamenhofa Street a pretty, 18-year-old daughter stayed with him. He got life numbers for her and himself. In the autumn of 1942 he lived with his mother and daughter at Muranowska Street No. 42, opposite the Szereszewski's flat. During the January action Rozental and his daughter hid in a shelter behind the door and survived.
