One of the most active public figure among the orthodox. Died on duty, being only 32. One of the organizers and leaders of religious society of working youth 'Poalej Agudas Izrael' and its vice-president in Warsaw. He was a man of action and had incredible energy. Always full of initiative and ideas. He always set specific aims, never day-dreaming, never tempted by utopias. He always aimed at creating a real help for the wide masses. He was an organizer and chairman of Jewish religious courses 'Chinuch', which were teaching Judaism to the children learning in elementary schools. He organized summer camps for not well-off and poor children at Zielonka. During the war he was one of the first founders of the kitchens for the poor. He created centres for children of the displaced (under the patronage of Centos), of which the one on Pawia Street 19, is a model centre of that kind. During his work he became ill (probably typhus), prematurely deceased.
