The letters come from Chaim Finkelsztejn's legacy, stored in the Jewish Historical Institute Archives. Abundant correspondence between Chaim Finkelsztejn, who lives in the USA (left Poland in August 1939 because of a congress in Geneva) and his wife and two daughters, who were in the Warsaw Ghetto. Dramatic, however, lacking in details because of obvious reasons. Chaim Finkelsztejn's correspondence about the issue of bringing Awiwa's surviving daughter to the USA is also worth mentioning - January - November 1945.
