A group of Jews, who were promised in Poland in 1943 to recieve expensive, foreign visas, were sent to the Durchgangslager (Dulag, a transit camp) in Vittel, France: they sent letters to families, and because of these letters so many people fell into the trap in the Hotel Polski.
