Lived in the ghetto with her parents and sister at Zlota Street No.32, at Wronia, Chlodna Streets and at Zelazna Street No. 103; she was after her high school finals, in the ghetto she attended Toporol (The Society for the Support of Agriculture) courses, worked in the Toporol until the July Action, for a week worked at Mr Schultz's shop, crossed to the 'Aryan side', lived at her housekeeper's family, worked as a servant in Warsaw, during the Warsaw Uprising deported to Pruszkow and Zielona Gora, there she worked in an ammunition factory until liberation; her mother survived, father was shot in Wlochy in August 1944; after the war in Warsaw as Irena Zofia Pawlowska
