Founded a luxurious orphanage in Dzielna Street, one of the founders of the brushmakers' shop at Franciszkanska Street No. 20.

In the ghetto he was called the 'king of the brushmakers'. He came from Tarnow, before the war he had made brushes. Politically involved in the Bund. Together with his partners established a big factory of brushes in the ghetto. It employed 2,000 workers; quickly became a millionaire. He supported financially Jewish institutions in the ghetto. He gave a big loan to the Joint to be returned after the war. He supported generously cultural activities in the ghetto, the Bund activities and its underground press. He also significantly donated a modern orphanage.

A chairman of the brushmakers in the ghetto (in a shop?). In January 1942 the brushmakers under Wajc established a new orphanage on the premises at Dzielna Street No. 61 ('Dobra Wola').

From Krakow, organised a brush factory at Dzielna Street No. 61 to fulfill the needs of the Wehrmacht, gave money to 'Dobra Wola' orphanage, which was set up in January 1942 (250 000 zloty each month).

Owner? Co-owner? Head of the brushmakers’ shop. He gave big donations for children; weekends and holidays spent in Otwock.

He came from Tarnow, he sponsored the orphanage 'Dobra Wola', he was energetic, dynamic and the biggest Polish producer of brushes, 'the king of the brushes'. He had a capital of a few millions of Polish zlotys, he allocated the money in creating jobs and thus chances for survival for the Jews. There are several rumours about him, e.g. when he came to Warsaw he distributed the money for here and there, he never refused to help those in need. Turkow did not know him personally but the name was familiar; he knew that Weitz gave money to the underground, also for the Joint (American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee).

He came form Malopolska; set up a factory of brushes in the Warsaw Ghetto; he delivered them to the Germans and became a millionaire. He paid for the children in the orphanage in Otwock and financed a house for the street children 'Dobra Wola'.
