49-year-old died excellent naturalist, the author of many scientific works. The director of the LAOR Jewish Gymnasium (junior high school) in Warsaw. Member of many scientific societies, among the others - Physiographic Commission of PAU (Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences), Life Science Commission of Warsaw Scientific Society. In last years he suffered of extreme poverty. Despite this, in the worst material conditions he did research. He died in his prime. The chairman of the Judenrat in recognition of the deceased merritts provided him an honorable grave and the funeral was on the Judenrat expense.
