He lost his wife and daughter - they were deported to Treblinka during the evacuation of the hospital at 12 September 1942. He worked in Hoffmann's shop - in November 1942 together with other workers of the shop he got to the Umschlagplatz, he bought himself out miraculously and went to Schilling's shop. He died in Majdanek.
