Crossed from the ghetto to the 'Aryan side' in summer (?) 1942. He lived in Saska Kepa, in some teacher's place. He was the third one in the room, in which two more Jews hid. He never went outside. The teacher still taught him and kept raising the price. On 7 July 1943, he left with his brother and parents, reputedly to Vittel, in connection with the Hotel Polski affair.
