Before the war he was the head of one of the departments of the Rygawer rubber factory; in the ghetto he stayed together with his wife and two children, he was a partner in a down and feathers' shop. During the First Action he jumped from the first floor while escaping and broke his leg. In November 1942 he passed to the 'Aryan side' with his wife, when he had no more money he joined a work detail on the 'Aryan side' and was shot there.
