Her father was an importer an exporter of foreign wines. Before the war they lived in Bydgoszcz. Her brother was deported from Bydgoszcz in 1939 and disappeared without a trace. The author, her sister and parents moved to Warsaw, in the ghetto they lived at Leszno Street No. 13. Rachela often passed to the 'Aryan side', she dealt with smuggling. Since June 1942 she stayed on the 'Aryan side', her parents did not want to leave the ghetto. On 6 August 1942 the mother and sister were deported. Adela had contacts with the Home Army (Armia Krajowa), she was interrogated in Szucha Street and released. Then she hid in the Sandomierskie. In July 1944 she returned to Warsaw and participated in the Warsaw Uprising as a paramedic and messenger. Deported to Germany, she survived the war as Halina Muszynska. Author of testimony 301-5557
