A journalist. He was an employment office clerk in the ghetto. He helped Jewish writers and artists obtain documents enabling them to work. He survived on the "Aryan side" with his wife and daughter. After the war he became very popular. He published reports from the Nuremberg Trials under the name Marian Podkowinski, under the same pen name he published his articles in "Przekroj".
