An eight or nine-year-old child. She had a typically Semitic appearanace, with black braids and big, black, sad eyes. She was thrown out by next carers, an orphan, in the summer of 1943 she found herself in priest Kubacki's basilica.

The younger priest Stanek did a lot to hide her, but each time Zosia quickly returned to the church. While hiding with the sacristan somebody spotted her again. She prayed crying and begging for mercy. Soon she found a foster-mother, who loved her as though Zosia was her own child.
