In exchange for that she obtained employment in pharmaceutical company on the 'Aryan side'. She could leave the ghetto and provide her family with food. In 1942 she was taken in a round-up to the Umschlagplatz. The company she worked for unsuccessfully tried to get her released. She was deported to Treblinka. Her husband Zdzislaw died in a camp in Poniatowa, her sister Eliza died in the ghetto. Jasia crossed to the 'Aryan side' with Zofia Szymanska.
