From 1933 to 1939, governess in Wattenberg's house in Lodz. Treated just like a family member. During the war, she escapes with her mother from Lodz to Warsaw and there she found the Wattenberg family. Her father and brother played the violin in the ghetto streets. One of her four sisters taught maths in an illegal private school. Her youngest sister died of typhus in August 1941, her mother died in November 1941.
