a member of the Polish Workers' Party (PPR) combat outfit, a Jewish Fighting Organization (ZOB) liaison. He co-organised the departure of insurgents through the sewers on 10 May. He escorted a group of fighters to Lomianki. He came back to Warsaw for another group, who had stayed in the sewers, together with another liaison Jurek Zolotow. At Bankowy Square surprised by the Blue Police, they started to defend themselves. Zolotow died, Maselman was wounded, he was shot in Zabia Street next to the Saxon Gardens.
